What is a cabin charter?
A cabin charter is basically chartering one bed or one cabin on a crewed sailing yacht. It is ideal for people who have always wanted to try sailing, be part of a team, meet new like minded people and learn the ropes (or not) as you wish.
Who can be part of a cabin charter?
Anyone who wants to sail can register for our cruises. If you are single, a couple, or even a family who prefers to charter a bigger yacht and to be part of a small flotilla, everyone is welcome. Just tell us your needs and we will find the cabin charter that suits YOU.

Private Yacht Skippered Charter
Organise your own group of family and friends and have the yacht all to yourself. In this case we select the ideal yacht for your purposes (3 cab, 4 cab, 5 cab or CAT) and add a professional local skipper.

No experience necessary
Our goal is to provide you with an experience you will never forget, a sailing adventure cruising the Greek Islands, anchoring in quiet bays, cooking on board, swimming and snorkling off the boat. An early morning skinny-dip watching the sun rise is a most unforgetable experience. Mooring up and visiting local places of interest and spending the evening in a local taverna and watching the sun set – another unforgetable experience!
For guests that want to have a very relaxed sailing week(s), PERFECT SAILING can provide a licensed and experienced Skipper and Hostess.
Your Captain will brief you before depart about the week(s) trip. You can also modify it and make changes in consultation and cooperation with him.
He will advice you for the best places to go with in the days that the yacht has been chartered. In most cases, our guests invite our Skippers to share stories and experiences in various traditional tavernas.
In any case your Skipper will be a discreet friend contributing to your enjoyable journey.
In many cases our guests select to have onboard a Hostess that PERFECT SAILING can provide. A Hostess will keep the boat clean and in order and will prepare breakfast and dinner according your tastes. Also she will help you and spend some time with your children so you can enjoy your free time.

This we can do but …
This is YOUR holiday and our primary objective is to ensure you have a great time. We will discuss and agree all that you really want to do and achieve. If you want to take over the running of the yacht (under the watchful eye of our skipper) or you want to relax and enjoy the cruise and let the skipper do all the work (within reason!), is up to you. If you want to sail hard and far every day we canl do it, if you want to relax, anchor, swim, motor to the next bay, we will do it. It’s your holiday!
Away from the madding crowd
The Pagasitikos Gulf and the Northern Sporades Islands are uniquely beautiful and uniquely quiet as it is still a fairly undiscovered region. We know the best places to go and try to get off the ‘beaten track’ to discover the most interesting destinations. Traveling by yacht is the perfect way to explore the islands. We also try to support local businesses as much as possible, from the family-owned tavernas to local places of interest. With all of our trips we aim for a balance of cultural activities with plenty of time for relaxation and sailing.
Volos, Pelion and the Pagasitikos Gulf provide the ideal base for a yacht sailing programme providing the large safe sailing area of the Pagasitikos Gulf in which to practice your skills, many places to visit, moor, anchor, stern/bows on practice in addition to all the practical sailing theory. With the option of venturing out to the Nothern Sporades or Evia.
This is an action packed yacht sailing course designed for the complete beginner or for the experienced skipper to practice Mediterranean yacht sailing skills in preparation to chartering a yacht.
This course is 7 days, Friday/Friday or Saturday/Saturday with sleeping on-board, we keep this flexible allowing for travelling to and from Greece over the weekends.

The Sailing Area – Pagasitikos Gulf
12 X 15 nm of clear, warm, blue sea. This is the ideal Mediterranean yacht sailing training area. Volos to the north, Mount Pelion to the east, Evia to the south, mainland Greece to the west and an abundance of beautiful islands and bays to explore. The Pagasitikos Gulf is relatively well protected although the conditions are often challenging. You are surrounded by bays and fishing villages and Volos Port so you can practice all kinds of mooring, anchoring, picking up a buoy etc. in preparation for taking command on your own bareboat charter sailing holiday.
What is and is not included
Included: Accommodation onboard and mooring fees.
Not included: Flights, transfers and travel/holiday insurance | Provisions, meals and drinks (we operate a ‘kitty’ system where 50 Euros a head will normally cover everything) | Fuel and Gas costs are split between the group/kitty | Please bring you own sailing gear, water proofs and sleeping bag (linen can be provided)
